technical relations

 IETF

The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is a large open international community of network designers and researchers from operators, vendors, academic institutions, etc. concerned about the evolution of the Internet architecture and the stability of the Internet operations. It is open to any interested individual.

The dot-root proposition will be fully reported to IETF, either as "experimental" or for "information." The dot-root projects will also be requested to submit IETF drafts and to discuss them in the relevant Working Groups. The dot-root test bed system and mailing lists are fully open to IETF participants.

 Other structures

The same open and cooperative attitude will be encouraged with every other technical community in networking, software, brainware, management, operations, legal, political, etc. areas. The dot-root project wants to serve as a platform to support every experiment of interest to network society. It will also keep tight relations with the @large community and with every other type of network development.

The dot-root project wants in particular to cooperate with the major initiatives technically related to multilingual, multinational, sustainable and cultural development, etc.

 From analysis to implementation
The main interest of the dot-root project is to carry on live testing with real users. The projects will therefore include the societal aspects of a development (brainware), its evaluation and the description of the sunrise periods. In most of the cases this will lead to diversified projects inter-relating with different technical and social structures.
